Soil Conservation Methods
Dust & Erosion Control focuses on superior
service for its clients. Each project is managed

Soil erosion is a major environmental problem
confronting land and water resources in South
Africa. Although soil erosion is a natural
process, it is often accelerated by human
activities, for example by the clearing of
vegetation, soil tillage or overgrazing.
For a mining or manufacturing company
which is looking for a partner which will assist
with their Going Green Initiatives which entail
expansion of vegetative cover, protective
afforestation and maintenance of soil fertility,
we are available to assist.
Instant lawn is better
suited to sloping terrain
where seed would be
washed to low areas after
the first hard rain.
This is a method for
planting grass, usually
over very large areas or
on slopes that are
difficult to plant.
This is the process of
replanting and
rebuilding the soil of
disturbed land.
This is the process of
transplanting tree
seedlings, generally for
forestry, land
reclamation.
These are cages, cylinders
or boxes filled with rocks,
concrete, or sometimes
sand and soil for use in
civil engineering.

why choose our biomass solution
Nutrient Supply
Organic matter is a reservior of nutrients
that can be released to soil.
Water-Holding Capacity

sponge, with the ability to absorb and
hold up to 90 percent of its own weight
in water.
Soil Structure Aggeration
Organic Matter causes soil to clump and
form soil aggregates, which improves
soil structure
Erosion Prevention
This property of organic matter is not
widely known. Organic matter can
reduce soil erosion by between 20 to 33
